Beef and Baby Corn Strip-Fry
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced and cut into 1- inch strips
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons light soy sauce (I used kikkoman)
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 red bell pepper, cored, seeded and sliced into thin strips
- 10 to 12 snow peas, ends trimmed
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, drained
- 8 to 10 baby corn, cut into 1-inch lengths
- 1 onion, peeled and slice thinly
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
